Elementary school for Rohingya children
Projects for Humanity opened a school at refugee camp
Young refugee children wandering the grounds of the camps with no environment to learn or grow. They are stuck in a place that has no future. To help these small refugee children escape their reality for a few hours each day and spend time with classmates under the instruction of a teacher, P4H created an elementary school on the refugee camp grounds. This elementary school was built large enough to hold 150 students in Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. Also, all students were provided school supplies, backpack, school uniforms, and one meal a day. Unfortunately due to Bangladesh government regulations, the school is currently closed.
