March Impact Report: A Month of Compassion, Care, and Ramadan Giving
March was a month illuminated by the blessings of Ramadan—a sacred time of reflection, compassion, and giving. At Projects for Humanity, this month became more than a period of service; it became a living expression of humanity in action. Across Bangladesh, the USA, and refugee communities, your support helped transform generosity into nourishment, care, and dignity for thousands of lives. This was not just a month of aid delivery—it was a month where hope was restored, hunger was eased, and humanity stood together.

With the support of our donors and partners, Ramadan efforts reached thousands across vulnerable communities.
Throughout the blessed month of Ramadan (spanning February and March), our collective efforts reached vulnerable communities with life-sustaining support. Over 560,000 Suhoor and Iftar meals were distributed, while Zakat al-Fitr food packages reached 234 families. In addition, 100 Eid dresses were distributed to orphans, underprivileged children, and slum communities. Every meal served and every package delivered carried more than food—it carried dignity, relief, and care during one of the most meaningful times of the year.
Our work extended beyond food assistance to ensure health, protection, and well-being. A total of 309 individuals received free medical care through 5 health camps, with services including general checkups, gynecology, eye care, and dental treatment. These efforts ensured that underserved communities could access essential healthcare and continue their lives with better health and relief.
Beyond immediate support, we remained committed to long-term transformation. Under our Underprivileged Empowerment Program, 2 new small business opportunities were created for vulnerable families. In total, the program supported 686 families, impacting more than 3,100 individuals by providing tools, training, and sustainable livelihood opportunities. This reflects our belief that true impact is not only about relief, but about helping families regain independence and dignity.
Access to clean water remained a critical focus during this period. We provided 28,510 gallons of clean water from 4 water plants and 17,685 gallons through 163 tube wells, reaching more than 8,450 individuals. In addition, two new water plants are nearing completion in collaboration with Grundfos, with launch expected in April. These initiatives continue to bring life-saving access to safe drinking water for vulnerable coastal communities.
Our commitment to children remained at the heart of our mission. Through Orphan Care, support expanded from 25 to 26 children, ensuring they received nutritious meals, healthcare, education, and emotional care. During Ramadan, children also completed Quran recitation (Khatam) and received Eid gifts and food support. At Champion Academy, students participated in Quran distribution, Islamic learning sessions, spoken English classes, pronunciation workshops, and academic preparation programs, alongside Eid celebrations that strengthened both learning and joy.
In refugee communities, we continued essential humanitarian support through school visits, coordination meetings, cooked meal distributions during Ramadan, and Eid food baskets for families. We also maintained reporting and coordination with local authorities to ensure uninterrupted service delivery in highly vulnerable settings.
Across the United States, we organized community fundraising events at multiple locations including Masjid Al-Arafat, Masjid Darul Emaan, Masjid Jamiah Islamiah, and the Islamic Society of Greater Lowell. These gatherings brought together compassionate supporters during the blessed nights of Ramadan, helping raise vital funds to continue our humanitarian efforts for those in need.
This month’s impact was only possible because of our donors, supporters, volunteers, and well-wishers. Your generosity turned into meals for the hungry, care for children, clean water for families, and hope for countless lives. We are deeply grateful for your continued trust and compassion.
Together, we are not only responding to need, we are building a future rooted in humanity. Thank you for walking this journey with us.
